Insurance and Fees

Growing Up Pediatrics is committed to offering parents affordable health care in which they can feel confident and secure. To control costs, we request that you pay for visits at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover.

We participate in many HMOs, PPOs and insurance plans such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid Patients 1st, United Healthcare, Cigna, Health Choice, PHCS and many others. Our experienced staff can assist you with insurance questions and will file claim forms for participating patients.

Insurance cards will need to be seen at the start of every visit. While this may seem inconvenient, it is important for us to maintain the correct billing information on each patient. Medicaid mandates that you also present your card on each visit to verify eligibility.

Patients are required by contract to pay the copay amount at every visit. We are likewise contractually obligated to collect it. To allow you to leave immediately following your visit, we will be asking for your copayments before your visits.

Parents have the ultimate responsibility for payment.
