Leigh Ann Smith, CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) received two years of additional training after nursing school and can treat many childhood illnesses, conduct physical exams, and prescribe a wide variety of medications. Leigh Ann is available three days per week in Bessemer |

Gayl-Julie Spence, CRNP graduated from Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner Track, at Samford University, with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2003. She is able to treat many childhood illnesses, perform well-child physicals, and prescribe a variety of medications. Gayl is available at both office locations. She obtained her Registered Nurse education from Gloucestershire Royal School of Nursing, England. Moving to Alabama in 1987, she has worked with Dr. John L. Buttler since 1990. Gayl and her husband, Darwin, reside in Helena with their children, Daniel and Kathryn. |
